This show is about transformation, and a realization of just how much a person can change over a lifetime.
The big flag change in the middle of the piece is meant to represent the gaurd passing new flags from off-stage down the line with the rightmost person tossing the old flags off stage.
I also intentionally ignored the boundary of the light gray tarp- in part to play to represent the idea of overcoming limitations, and in part because I felt the show would look less cluttered if I used the entire window rather than just the middle portion.
