Hi,
I'm Maarten Walraven, I'm 18 years old and I live in the Netherlands.

My Drum Corps carreer started when I decided to join Jong Jubal Drum & Bugle Corps in 2007, I was at the age of 12. After two succesful years I made the step towards Jubal Drum & Bugle Corps. Here we became DCN and DCE champions in 2009! In 2010 we unfortunately ended 4th place. 2011 has written history as being our 100th anniversary, in which we participated in DCI, probably the best experience ever! 2012 is about to start now, and Jubal will take their 101st step with their program: Stairway!

My favorite DCI Corps is The Bluecoats, since I started in the world of drum corps in 2007 I loved this corps, and I still do, BLOOOO!

My judging and writing philosophy is: transitions are crucial, forget about figures!
