First and foremost, I am the founder of the MML Parade of Champions, the most successful competition in the history of MicroMarching League...

My design philosophy is this:

Scores or competition do not matter; that's all secondary. As long as the next show is better than the older one, that's all it matters...and as long as I can keep the eyes glued to the screen, that's all I care about as well.

Judging Philosophy:

Every show I judge must keep my eyes glued to the screen in a very innovative and visually-effective manner. If I wander around with my eyes while I'm judging a show, I'd give it no higher than a 5. If I see that the designer has given some good effort in trying for a good show, I'd give it anywhere between a 6 to an 8. If I watch the show twice (rarely happens), you'd probably get a 9 or maybe a 10 (extremely rare). =)
