I am from the West Bloomfield High School Marching Band. For the level at which we compete at we are extremely small (100 members). However we as a band are some of the most enthusiastic, hard working, and closest high schoolers in the country. My goal is for my band to make semi finals at nationals this year and place in the top 3 (for our flight) at MCBA's state championships. If we could do both of those things I would be so proud.

I march/play the Bari Sax. I love it, its size gives me a feeling of superiority over all of the alto/tenor marchers in the world (i know that's bad). I am the section leader. I feel that leadership is the most important aspect of band and if anyone ever wants to have a conversation with me about anything related to leadership in the band setting just post a messege to my wall.

When I judge, one single bad thing is enough for me to give you a 1. Even if your show has merit, if I believe a transition was poor enough I would give a 1. The score that I click is usually based off of my mood once the show is over. And the show is what effects my mood. Pass-throughs in the drill will usually earn you at least a 7. I like a lot of movement. I like sections that "interact" with eachother. And if you have a really creative theme that is decently executed you will usually get at least an 8. Your show description will effect your score. I hate show descriptions that say "please comment" or "please like."
