I am now a 3rd yr sophomore, if anyone can relate to that, im on the 5+ year plan at Eastern Kentucky University studying to be an elementary school teacher, emphasis in arts and humanities. I am completly engrossed in the arts even though i hardly do anything with them as it comes to school. Im not in any music organizations as of yet, soon i will be joining the university wide band here at EKU playing my main instrument, horn, and hopefully wont make a fool out of myslef. I also love to paint and sculpt and i am currently in a lexington area christian theater that brings the message to children in an awesomely fun way.

Before and during my time Henry Clay High school I played horn for 8 years before i stopped playing in an ensemble, i also played trumpet for 5, mostly in our jazz band, and have played bassoon for 3+ years. While in highschool i also had the provilage of playing in out states only high school steele band, as well as play in the central kentucky youth orchestra for 6 years.

As far as music goes my favorite composers are Percy Grainger, im a horn/basson player DUH! Dana Wilson, Martin Ellerby, and John Mackey, although not a huge fan of his most recognizable piece, asphalt cocktail.
