Marching experience= Former member of the Lakeville North High School, Panther Marching Band, from Lakeville, Minnesota. (1980-1984) Go Panther's! Former Member of The University Of Minnesota Marching Band. (1984-1987) Go Gopher's! Favorite corps's/ Band's= The State Of Minnesota has Two senior Drum corps's, Minnesota Brass Inc. & The Saint Peter Governair's. We also have three Drum corps's Competition's, Thunder Of Drum's, in Saint Peter, Minnesota. Drum Beauty, in Stillwater, Minnesota. Minnesota DCI, at TCF Bank Gopher Stadium, Minneapolis, Minnesota. I love all High School and College Marching Band's and Drum corps's. Design = Big Ten Style and Learning corps's and other styles. Judging Philosophy = Jude other's the way you wish to be judged. About Me = I am a former member of the Lakeville North High School, Panther Marching Band as a Clarinet Player, from the year's (1980-1984) My High School was a Big Ten Style Marching Band, We never marched corps's or had a gaurd. I'll never forget how excited I was when I put on My band uniform for the first time in 9th grade, it was a big day as marching band was always My life and still is. I'll never forget My first Parade, it was the Farmington Mountain Dew Day's Parade in Farmington, Minnesota, where our Band won 3rd place and I can still remember how exciting it was to bring home that first ever trophey for the band. In the Summer time, We had a summner marching band program, where We marched in parades all summer long. We always marched on the 4th of July and our hometown parade and the biggest one and the end of the Summer Season was the Minneapolis Aquatennial Torchlight Parade. In the Fall Season, we marched at every home football game, doing a Pregame Show, Hafe Time Show and a Postgame Show and ended the Season with a Indoor Marching Band Concert and the biggest parades in the Fall were the Octoberfest Parade, in Lacrosse, Wisconsin and the Anoka, Halloween Parade, in Anoka, Minnesota. My Band was the first ever band from Minnesota to march in the 1981 Tangerine Bowl Festival, in Orlando, Florida and and has gone twice since, it is now named the Citrus Parade. In 1984, after I graduated We took a trip to the Edmonton, Alberta Canada, Klondike Day's Parade. My HS, Marching Band since I graduated, is now 355 member's strong and still has the same band director since it's foudning in 1979, it started with only 34 member's and I am one of it's first 9th grader's. There was ten of us back then. It has appeared in the 2001 Orange Bowl Parade, 2005 Inaugural Parade, 2007 Tournament Of Roses Parade, Escorted Santa Claus, at the 2007 Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade and has made many other bowl trip's and Holiday Parades since. When in College, I belonged to the University Of Minnesota Marching Band. Again, we marched Pep Ralley, Pregame and Hafetime and Postgame at every home football game, there was homecoming and away trip's to Purdue, Michigan and Northwestern and two Minnesota Viking's Hafe Time Show's. We ended every season with a Indoor Marching Band Concert and always did a Indoor Concert at another HS. We went on two Bowl Trip's. The 1985, The Independence Bowl and in 1986 The Liberty Bowl. I was a flag one year in the Minnesota Marching Band, in 1985, when We went to the Independence Bowl. I have a great deal of respect for ALL marching styles. Please remember when judging My show's. That I have NO experience at all when it comes to marching corps's. I love DCI and all High School and College Marching Band's. But at the time I was in band. I never once marched corps's style. Only big ten high step, like Michigan Marching Band and etc. The corps's style, did not come into the big ten band's, untill after I left the band. Marching Performances Attended for 2010 = Attended Big Loud and Live on August 12th, 2010 at AMC Theater's in Roseville, Minnesota and the LNHS Panther Marching Band and University Of Minnesota Marching Band Indoor Concet's in November of 2010. Reached Super Star 4 with 19,000 XP on August 12th, 2011. June 18th, 2011 Attended DCI At The Movies. Thursday August 11th, 2011, Attended Big Loud And Live! Attended Sounds Of Minnesota DCA Senior Drum corps's. On August 20th, 2011. Attended Rosemount, MN. Fall Marching Band Competition on September 10th, 2011. On Sunday September 18th, 2011 at 11:59 P.M. I achieved My dream of Legend Status at 2,000 XP. Monday September 19th, 2011. Top of the judging panel with 97 plus show's judged. Patch # 28 earned on September 28th, 2011, for 4000 Comment's. October 7th and 8th University Of Minnesota Show, Dedicated to Bryan LaHaise, By Attended Youth In Music Fall Marching Band at HHH Metrodome in Mpls. Minnesota, Day and Evening Show's. Saturday, October 22nd, 2011. 27th Patch earned on Christmas Day, December 25th, 2011. For MML's 4th Anniversary. December 31st, 2011, ended the year with 2200 xp and Legend 2 status. 240 Show's. 27th Patch MML 4th Anniversary Patch. 2012 Membership Patch, earned on January 1st, 2012, 28th Patch.
