How do I get a floor on the field?

When you go to design a show, you choose indoor guard or indoor drum line.

If you already have a show you're working on, you'll need to either select Start a New Show (and throw away the current one) or Freeze Show to keep it for later.

Then when you enter the show designer to make your new show, you'll see the menu for what kind it is (indoor, etc).

If you're talking about putting a floor like a guard floor on the full band field you can't.
