Amazing New Music App - Must Buy
Wow! Thank you so much. This App is going to be a great help!
Key Poulan and a partner put the Tonal Energy together. I highly suggest supporting him and his product. Wholeheartedly agree with Adrian about this tuner - check it out and go get it!
Haha, one of my directors showed that to us the other day. He's held it up in front of us at sectionals to see how full of a sounds we have. So that's how he found out about it...

The app is called "Tonal Energy" and is $1.99 on the iTunes store for a couple more weeks. After that it goes to to $4.99. Here are some of the main features and what it can do.
BEST TUNER OUT THERE - It picks up insanely quick, autotransposes for your instrument and even gives you a smiley face when you're in tune. You can change the sensitivity to beginner, intermediate, or pro. This tuner rivals one you'd buy at a music store for over $100. There are more perks, read on.
SUSTAIN CHORDS - You can sustain any notes, or multiple notes at the same time. It gets better, read on.
PROFESSIONAL SOUND SAMPLES - The makers recorded professional musicians in the Houston area, like Houston Symphony members, and created sound samples of those musicians. You can pick Eb clarinet, sustain a triad, and you have a professional clarinet trio playing for you.
JUST OR EQUAL TEMPERAMENT - Ever heard of raising the fifth of a chord up 2 cents and lower the third down 14? You can sustain chords this way. That means you can play a PERFECTLY in tune C Major chord with the sound of a professional.
TUNE TO JUST INTONATION - Want to get your third in tune, down 14 cents? Play an F and C, go the to tuner, and the tuner will tell you when you're in tune on the adjusted third. It sounds great playing with the professional sound samples.
SEE WHAT YOUR SOUND LOOKS LIKE - There's a graph that picks up volume and purity of sound. It shows if you're playing a perfectly square note, or if you have an even crescendo. When you play four notes in a row, it will show you which one is 1% longer or 1% softer. I played a forte piano and could see my volume change. While I did that, there was also a line that showed that my pitch when sharp at the same time. Next time, I got to fix it!
I know I sound like a sales man, but I can't stress it enough...If you're in band and you have an Apple portable device, you MUST get this app. It's a complete game changer in the music world and is fun too. To find it, just search the iTunes store for "Tonal Energy".
