Quite possibly one of the most famous battles to have ever taken place on earth, the Battle of Gettysburg was a major battle fought in the Civil War that lasted from July 1 to July 3 in 1863. The battle resulted in nearly 50,000 casualties, making it the bloodiest battle fought in the Civil War. The result was a victory for the Union side and people claim this victory was the turning point of the war.
This show represents the battle through 4 key elements:
-The corps uniforms are meant to be replicas of those worn by the Union
-The all blue flags represent the Union
-The red and blue flags represent the Confederacy
-In the end, the sides come together, signifying the end of the war
