Most recent marching-related update: I will be performing with the 2012 Blue Stars on euphonium!

I am attending Ball State University. I will be majoring in Music Education, though I may add some things with composition along the way. I have played saxophone since I was in fifth grade, and it was what helped expose me to the world of music I have now grown to love. I'm a huge Phan. I first saw Phantom Regiment in '04 and I've loved them ever since. I am a Mentor here on this site, and while I have not designed for awhile, I still know what makes a good show. If you're having trouble, give me a message on my wall. I'll be more than happy to help you.

My judging philosophy focuses on ensuring that the drill is possible. If people smash into each other, the show will not receive a high score. Also, most people are trying to get away from blocks and the likes of, but I say...if you can make blocks interesting, do it. I personally like them more because if you do something unique, you can tell easily.

Outside of marching, I do play legit saxophone (I don't play jazz). I had the honor to attend Interlochen Arts Camp and I must say it has been one of the greatest influences on me as a musician.
